Terms of Use

DRAFT – FOR LEGAL REVIEW

Updated 21 October 2026. Operated by Tom Mansbridge. Contact: t.mansbridge@yahoo.co.uk.

An adult communication pilot

You must be 18 or over. How Are We? is an experimental communication tool for couples, not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis or a crisis service. Availability and features may change during the pilot; do not rely on it for urgent messages.

Respect and privacy

Use your own account and invite only a willing partner. Do not use the app to harass, threaten, monitor or coerce anyone. Do not enter medical, sexual or other sensitive details, or private information about another person. Never share another person’s account or invitation without permission.

Sharing and leaving

Both partners must accept pairing. Check-ins and replies are sent only through their Share or Send actions. Either partner can unpair or withdraw consent in Settings & privacy. Leaving a pair removes its shared history from the live app. Download your own data first if you want a copy.

Privacy and support

Read the Privacy Notice. If using a couples app feels unsafe, stop and seek confidential support. In immediate danger in the UK call 999. These draft terms do not limit your statutory rights.
